About these map skills worksheets

Map sheets build spatial thinking, the ability to picture where things are. Each page has a picture map and a set of questions about it. Kids find a starting picture, follow the directions and circle what they land on. A finger on the map makes it easy to keep track.

Little ones answer simple questions like what is below the cow. Kindergarten and first grade follow arrow steps across a town or farm. Older kids use a compass and grid coordinates such as B3, just like on real maps. Each page starts with a solved example question.
