Free Printable Number Tracing Worksheets

About number tracing worksheets

Writing numbers takes practice, just like letters. Each row shows a dotted number with a green start dot. Kids trace it a few times and then write their own at the end of the line. The green dot shows where the pencil goes first, which helps prevent backward numbers.

Preschool sheets cover 0 to 10, and kindergarten sheets go up to 20, which is where two-digit numbers start to appear. Pair the tracing with counting real objects to connect the written number with the amount. New numbers appear every time you print. Compact mode fits more problems on a page when kids want extra practice.
