About picture sudoku for kids
Sudoku is a gentle way to practice logic. Every row, column and thick box needs each picture or number exactly once, so kids learn to use clues, rule things out and check their work. These are the same habits kids need for word problems and science experiments later on.
Younger kids solve 4x4 grids with fruit and animal pictures and can draw the missing picture or write its first letter. Older kids move on to 6x6 number puzzles. Every puzzle has one solution, and the answer key shows it.
