About symmetry worksheets

Each grid has a dashed line down the middle that acts like a mirror. The left side is already colored, and kids color squares on the right so both halves match. It's coloring with a purpose, and kids can see right away if both sides look alike.

Grids grow with the level: 4x4 for preschool, 4x6 for kindergarten, 6x8 for first and second grade, and 8x10 for older kids. Counting squares from the mirror line is the key strategy, and the answer key shows the finished picture.
